Consistency is tough. Staying consistent as a creative? That’s a whole different level of hard.
The thing is, creative work doesn’t follow a schedule. You can’t rush it, and you definitely can’t force it. That’s part of the beauty—and the challenge.
But here’s a method I’ve been using to stay on track: set aside one day a week to review everything.
Take a good look at all the music you’ve made and the goals you’ve set. Reflect on your performance, and track your progress.
Here’s where it gets real.
Write down everything you could improve on. No detail is too small. Be honest with yourself and lay it all out.
Why? Because the obstacles we think about always seem bigger in our heads than they actually are.
When you put your goals and areas for improvement on paper, it changes everything. They stop feeling like massive, impossible challenges and start looking like what they really are: small, achievable steps on the journey forward.
Over time, this builds momentum. You’ll see the progress pile up, week by week. Imagine looking back 10 weeks from now and being proud of how far you’ve come—all because you decided to stick with it.
The bottom line: stay consistent, trust the process, and keep moving forward. 2025 is going to be the year we make it.
